Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral therapy is a very light touch therapy for all ages, which relaxes the body to create a feeling of well being to remove restriction and to allow the body to drain correctly, so it can heal.

A subtle therapy with profound health benefits, Craniosacral Therapy (CST) involves the gentle manipulation of the synarthrodial joints of the cranium, sacrum (a triangular bone in the lower back), and spinal column using a very light touch. These tiny manipulations enhance circulation of the fluid which cushions the brain and spinal cord, in turn supporting your body’s natural instinct to restore, balance and heal itself.

During a treatment, your therapist will gently place their hands on different parts of your body where they sense tension or compression, allowing you to release stress, manage pain and feel internally energised.  CST is a non-invasive therapy and is suitable for all age groups.

Treatment Time: The length of the session really depends on how much treatment you need at the time and your therapist will assess this session. Times can vary between 45 to 60 minutes.
